The Honda Insight is back! Honda today unveils the Insight 2, a concept version of its new global hybrid. As extensively scooped by CAR Online, the new Insight is claimed to preview the world's cheapest petrol-electric hybrid car.We'll see the new Honda Insight concept at the Paris motor show in October 2008 – and the real production car follows not soon after.
The new Dodge Charger is longer, lower and wider than the model it replaces, but offers even more performance from its 5.7-liter Hemi V8, which now belts out 470bhp and the standard 2.7-liter Pentastar V6 also offers 292bhp and better economy. Although based on the previous models' platform, the car has been significantly reworked to enhance its driving dynamics with all-new suspension settings, but it also wears bolder sheet-metal. The interior, benchmarked against European models, features soft touch plastics, a single piece molding for the dash and better colors throughout the range.
This is the BMW Concept X4, which borrows the idea of an SUV with coupe proportions from its X6 brother, and shrinks the template down to the size of an X3. But don't be fooled by the 'Concept' tag of this car – like the Concept 4-series coupe we saw in 2012, the X4 is very much confirmed for production, and will receive only detail styling tweaks before it goes on sale in mid-2014. It'll be built alongside the X3, X5 and X6 models at BMW's Spartanburg factory in the USA from early 2014.
